On the morning after we buried Melody's body, a beautiful snow covered the ground. We made a snowgirl in honor of our precious baby.

Our daughter Melody Hope was stillborn today. She was eight inches long and weighed 13 ounces. We are rejoicing in the promises of our Savior Jesus even as we mourn the loss of our little girl. Our God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

We arrived in Ireland on St. Patrick's Day for a wonderful week of being together as husband and wife. We stayed at a little cottage in the southwest and enjoyed seeing old buildings and beautiful scenery.

Dottie Crenshaw, Lincoln County Recorder of Deeds, provided our marriage license at a cost of $53. I don't blame her personally, but it seems mean to take advantage of young people in love. :-) We did get a little box of mints out of the deal.
